Jr K Day #1

So we began our morning with buttermilk pancakes. Then Mia being so excited immediately went to get on her school clothes. She has to wear a uniform this year. Little sis wanted to be in the picture too as well as Atus. The day has begun. Mia showing off her "just a little to big" backpack. But she is a big girl now and backpacks are a must.

We decided to arrive in style on the first day of Jr. Kindergarten. No holding back for our kids.

Both girls had a blast on the way to school and here they are posing outside of Mia's classroom. Mrs. Johnsen is her teacher and Mia is ready for school. (Maybe one day we can teach them to actually look at the camera.) Mia at her desk before any other kids start to arrive.

Just before mommy, daddy, and Peyton say their goodbyes, Daddy gets to pose with Mia for a shot of Mia at her first day of school.

After school, we picked her up and her response was "we played inside and outside." Could you elaborate on that one. They colored, had chapel, her teacher is nice, her teacher showed her stuff around the classroom, she has friends, she ate all her snacks and lunch, and thats about all I could get out of her.

OK, now really we didnt go to school in a limo unless you count the suburban. Who does that? I dont know but we thought we had better take a picture of it and just pretend. Maybe one day...
