Thursday was our last day on the big island before we headed over to Kauai. We woke up early and headed to a nearby beach ( i guess all the beaches are sord of nearby right) we went to Puako Beach. It was pleasant, water was warm, not too much sun, lots of sand, fish were swimming very close to shore and the girls had too much fun playing with their toys, the bits of coral and rocks daddy brought to them from the ocean while snorkeling, and playing in the waves. Although not really waves when you consider the waves we normally see but they enjoyed sitting as the waves hit and spun them around and as the water left spun them back around to face the ocean, they thought this was the coolest thing. I also after looking at this photos need to learn how to use my camera better because it really was a beautiful morning but you cant tell that by the pictures. The next beach we go to i will most definetly play with the settings to make sure you can see the beauty of the day.
After we went back to our condo to shower and check out we headed into Kona for some last minute shopping. We had to find a magnet and while your out you must try the shave ice. So thats what we did. Most of us, Mia just decided it was time to take a nap instead so she missed out.
